Founded in 1983 in Oregon, the company makes field programmable gate arrays, chips whose logic is configured after manufacture. It abandoned competition at the high end against Xilinx and Altera and concentrated on low-power small FPGAs used for hardware security, sensor bridging, and system control in communications, industrial, and automotive equipment. That repositioning after 2018 improved margins substantially. Headquarters are in Hillsboro, Oregon, and revenue tracks industrial and communications equipment cycles.

Lattice Semiconductor equity questions

How much LSCC stock do I sell to fund a goal without overpaying tax?
It depends on your cost basis, your target amount and date, and how the sale spreads across tax years. Selling vested LSCC shares triggers long-term capital-gains tax, plus the 3.8% net investment income tax and state tax above certain income, and bunching a large sale into one year can push the gain into a higher bracket. The calculator above builds the minimum-tax sell schedule across your lots to net your target amount by your date.
Does Lattice Semiconductor grant ISOs, NSOs, or RSUs?
Equity compensation at Lattice Semiconductor typically takes the form of restricted stock units (RSUs). Restricted stock units are taxed as ordinary income when they vest.
Do Lattice Semiconductor RSUs use double-trigger vesting?
No. Lattice Semiconductor restricted stock units (RSUs) use single-trigger vesting: each tranche becomes yours as it vests on schedule, taxed as ordinary income at that point, with no liquidity event required.
