The Accelera segment develops electrolyzers and electric powertrains. A 2023 emissions settlement over Ram pickup engines cost roughly $1.7 billion, among the largest Clean Air Act penalties. Cummins equity questions
- How much does it cost to hedge CMI stock?
- The cost of a protective put depends on how far below the current price you set the floor, how long the protection lasts, and CMI's option-implied volatility. A zero-cost collar lowers that cost by selling away some upside. The calculator above prices both structures off the current CMI option chain and shows the annual cost, maximum loss, and tax treatment.
- Does Cummins grant ISOs, NSOs, or RSUs?
- Equity compensation at Cummins typically takes the form of restricted stock units (RSUs). Restricted stock units are taxed as ordinary income when they vest.
- Do Cummins RSUs use double-trigger vesting?
- No. Cummins restricted stock units (RSUs) use single-trigger vesting: each tranche becomes yours as it vests on schedule, taxed as ordinary income at that point, with no liquidity event required.
